Patna Dental College & Hospital, Patna is one of the reputed dental colleges in Bihar state of India.   It is a government dental college administered by state government/UT administration. It was established in the year 1960-61 at Bankipur, Patna. The Hospital is situated in its own building and is located in the heart of the city on the bank of the holy river Ganga adjacent to PMCH on main Ashok Rajpath. The college is attached to Patna Medical College & Hospital, Patna. The college was affiliated to Patna University & Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area with a total student intake of around 86 students. It is a premier dental institution with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty and doctors delivering quality education and best oral health care for the entire population of Bihar. The hospital has a well experienced set of faculty to provide excellent academic and clinical excellence.

The college has good clinical facility of about 103 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 80 accommodations for boys and 120 accommodations for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the students. Its rich library for the benefit of the students.

Laboratory facility is available for fabrication of prosthodontic & orthodontic appliances. For histopathology pertaining to dentistry the department of Oral Pathology also has lab facility.
