Chhattisgarh which means “thirty six forts” is a state located in the region of Central India. This state was formed by the partition of ten Chhattisgarhi and six Gondi-speaking districts in the southeast of Madhya Pradesh. Raipur is the capital city of the state of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is a heavily forested state in Central India known for its temples and waterfalls. Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest-developing states in India. The State of Chhattisgarh is known as the rice bowl of India and has a rich tradition of food culture.

The college is situated in the Durg- Rajnandgaon, G.E. Road, Village- Anjora, Durg C.G, Chhattisgarh, India.  It was established in the year 2005-06 in Anjora, rajnandgaon,Durg, chhattisgarh, India.  It is a private dental college. It is situated in the outskirts of Durg city at G.E. Road, Anjora area  in a serene and congenial ambience away from the buzz of the city.Chhattisgarh Dental College and Research Institute (CDCRI), Chhattisgarh is run by Maitri Educational Society Registered vide no. 3383 dt. 03/02/2004 under Cb. Society Rajnandgaon 1973.The College is attached to Govt.District Hospital; Durg C.G.The college has started functioning from the year 2005-06 with the foremost aim of imparting quality education in the field of dentistry and to provide quality professionals to the Society.  It is affiliated to College of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The College is located within an area of 12.72 acres in a serene and congenial atmosphere. The Multi-Super Specialty Hospital has all the 9 dental specialties and 8 Medical Branches specialty consisting Maxillofacial Trauma Centre, Oral Cancer Centre, etc. It is functioning in a constructed area of 130800 sq.ft with all sophisticated infrastructure facilities ensuring best treatment to the patients. The college has an attractive building complex with all the modern infrastructural facilities according to the norms laid down by the Dental Council of India. The Society has also started 250-bedded Medical Hospital in the campus with a view to give Clinical Exposure to the dental students.

The main aim of the college is to provide a full fledged Ultra Modern Dental College, one of the first of its kind in the State of Chhattisgarh, to serve the Society and Nation by providing quality professionals through advancement of modern dentistry. The main goal of the institute is to provide quality professionals imparting quality education in the field of dentistry. The college also has excellent teaching facilities and also provides tremendous support for research and innovation. The college also has exceptional infrastructure with cutting edge technologies for the benefit of the students and patients.

The college has good clinical facility of about 316 dental chairs to cater to the necessity of the patients. The college rests on a strong and committed faculty, efficient administration, professional development, scholarships, research, and community service.

The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 200 accommodations for boys and 250 accommodations for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the students.

   Hostel

The college has hostel facility for both girls and boys which provide good hostel accommodation for the students. The institute has a hostel facility of 200 accommodations for boys and 250 accommodations for girls. The accommodation is well furnished with bed, mattress, wardrobe, table and chair etc. The institute provides fresh and hygienic food in its premises.

The library resources include good collection of prescribed textbooks, reference works like handbooks, dictionaries for various dental problems and its treatment. The library extends its facilities through separate reading section and also covers photocopying facility so that the students to increase their knowledge in a spacious set-up.
