Vananchal Dental College & Hospital, Garhwa is one of the most reputed private dental colleges in jharkand, India. It is a private dental college administered by a society called vananchal trust.

It was established in the year 2007-08 at Farathiya, garhwa, Jharkhand. The college is attached to Govt Sadar Hospital which is their own hospital . The college was affiliated to Nilamber Pitamber University, Medininagar,  Palama and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area of 322779.6 sq ft with a total student intake of around 237 students. The college campus has sprawling lush green lawns, lots of trees and plants with well planned and beautifully designed buildings divided into different blocks and wings.

The main vision of the college to provide complete support, protection and care to needy and deprived people in the society with special focus on rural communities; and aim to bring in change in their lives. Our mission is to produce the proficient Professionals to fulfill the ever increasing demand of the modern society.

It is a premier dental institution with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty and doctors. The hospital has a well experienced set of faculty to provide excellent academic and clinical excellence.

The college has good clinical facility of about 265 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The institute has a hostel facility of 150 accommodations for boys and 300 accommodations for girls. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

                FACILITIES

  Hostel

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 150 accommodations for boys and 300 accommodations for girls. he hostels are double storied building. Rooms are T-shape triple bedded and double bedded with good mess facilities and indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis, Carom Board, Chess etc. The hostel provided with Guest room for parent & Guardians. The garden room is also attached to the hostel building for proper care of students. Gents and Ladies warden is appointed to look after Boy's and Girl's hostel respectively.

 Library

The institution has a library that has all kinds of text, reference books and journals for the students to enhance their knowledge and is a perfect place for book lovers. The books are available as per DCI norms. Internet connectivity and online information sources are also available. There is a separate reading room for students and faculty members. Xerox machine, Fax machine & Computers are available in the library for student's use. Library timing & its functions are totally guided by the rules & regulations of the librarians

The institute provides sports facilities and encourages them to participate in indoor and outdoor games for their physical and mental well being.

Cafeteria

The college has an excellent canteen facility, comprising of a state-of-the-art kitchen, friendly catering staff and a pleasing environment. This canteen caters to the requirements of both the staff as well as the students. Good quality and tasty veg & non-veg foods is prepared and served under hygienic conditions.

IT infrastructure is well-appointed for the overall development of the students. The college is functioning in the form of networked office administration with the help of an online information system. The college having lecture halls with a capacity of 120 students.
