Sri venkateshwaraa dental college, Puducherry is one of the reputed dental colleges in Pondicherry, India. The aim and mission of SVDC is to provide the best dental education to the youth on par with International Standards. They want to achieve a global excellence in education, oral healthcare and in research.

It is a private dental college administered by Ramachandra Educational Trust (RET). It is  an eco friendly environment which constantly focuses on student development and safety.  It was established in the year 2014-2015 at Ariyur, Pondicherry. The college is attached to Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital & Research Centre. The college is affiliated to prestigious Pondicherry University and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

Located in the sprawling area of within a 5 acre campus with a built up infrastructure of 1, 50,000 sq.ft. It is a premier dental institution with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty and doctors delivering quality education and best oral health care for the entire population of Pondicherry. The hospital has a well experienced set of faculty to provide excellent academic and clinical excellence. The college also encourages research and innovations.

The college has good clinical facility of about 207dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. There is 400 seat capacity for boys and 400 capacity of accommodation for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

Hostel

Separate hostels for boys and girls are thoroughly modern and air conditioned, offering single and twin sharing accommodation. AC rooms are also available (Optional).  There is 400 seat capacity for boys and 400 capacity of accommodation for girls. There are attached toilets with 24 hour supply of hot and cold water. The students in hostels are provided with well furnished rooms with individual Cot, Cupboard, Study table with Chair, Common telephone, TV room, Reading room, Visitors lobby and facilities for Indoor and Outdoor games. Ragging, in any form is banned and Use of tobacco and consumption of alcohol is prohibited strictly.

 Library

Central library is spread on an area of 8000sqft with more than 5000 text books.  National and International journals and E-Library facilities are available which includes Large volumes of books from the basic life sciences to the clinical and non-clinical dental subjects.  The college has a well-enabled library with over 4000 titles in various disciplines and an Air Conditioned computer lab with 25 computer delnet connections.

WI-FI campus

The institute is a completely WI-FI enabled campus. Computer lab with 25 computer delnet connections.

 Sports

Institute has well equipped sports facilities for the students. facilities for  indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis, and Volley Ball are available. Sports day is conducted every year in the month of April to encourage the students to take up extra-curricular activities and foster team spirit.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

  IT Infrastructure

IT infrastructure is well-appointed for the overall development of the students. Air conditioned lecture halls are made available for students which accommodate more than 100 students at a time.

Auditorium facility is well-resourced for events and seminars.  Indoor airconditinoed auditorium named as “Sai Auditorium” is available for all events. The auditorium is fully furnished with, LCD Projector and seating capacity of 400 seats.
