Sarjug Dental College, Darbhanga

Bihar is a beautiful state of eastern India. It is the third largest state in population in India. It is beautiful city with Important Buddhist pilgrimage sites which include the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya's Mahabodhi Temple. Sarjug dental college, darbhanga is one of the reputed private colleges in Bihar state of India.   It is named after the late babu Sarjug Singh father of dr kamala Prasad Singh, who is the chairman of the trust that manages the college. It was established in the year 1988-89 at Laheriasarai, Darbhanga, Bihar. It is a private hospital. The college is attached to their own Jogendra Memorial Medical Hospital. The college was affiliated to Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area of 217800 sq ft   with a total student intake of around 230 students. The college has a total constructed area of 119053.59 sq ft. It is a premier dental institution with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty and doctors delivering quality education and best oral health care for the entire population of Bihar. The hospital has modern equipments and technology for sophisticated treatment of patient, an integrated team of doctors and trained hospital staffs who are dedicated to providing the highest standard of patient care and dedicated faculty to provide highest possible education to the students for achieving academic excellence.

The college has good clinical facility of about 100 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 80 accommodations for boys and 120 accommodations for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the students. Its rich library for the benefit of the students.

The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. All the students are offered hostel facilities (separate for boys and girls) with all amenities provided so that they do not miss their home environment and concentrate on their academic career. The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students. The College has a provision of labs that include pre clinical prosthetics & Conservative labs for preclinical training of undergraduates. Laboratory facility is available for fabrication of prosthodontic & orthodontic appliances. For histopathology pertaining to dentistry the department of Oral Pathology also has lab facility.
