It is a private dental college administered by the DAV Management. It was established in the year 1997-98 at Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The college is attached to a government general hospital called Govt. Regional Hospital, Solan. The college is affiliated to prestigious Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area of 217803 sq ft with total student intake/enrolments of around 185 students. It is located in a peaceful and calm place suitable for seekers. It is a premier dental institution delivering quality education and best oral health care for the entire population of himachal Pradesh. The hospital has a well experienced set of faculty to provide excellent academic and clinical excellence.

The college has good clinical facility of about 150 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. There is 120 seat capacity for boys and 140 capacity of accommodation for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

Proper exclusive hostel accommodation separately for boys and girls with facilities of mess, common room and other living amenities are provided at the campus. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls.
