KLE society’s institute of dental sciences, Bangalore, karnataka,india, is one of the reputed dental colleges in Bangalore, India. KLE College was established in the year 1992 by the KLE society with the excellence in excellence in education for the students and quality in health for the population. It is a well established private college situated in Yeshwanthpur Suburb, II Stage, Tumkur Road, Bangalore. The college strives to maintain excellence in academics, research and clinical areas. The College & Hospital are situated on the Bangalore-Tumkur Highway predominantly industrial area making it an ideal area for a floating population of around 1 lakh – 2lakh.

The main vision and mission of this institution is to provide the best possible training to the undergraduate BDS students and post graduate students to make them excellent clinicians, to promote all around development of the students, to inculcate the seeds of research in these young minds, to create awareness regarding oral hygiene and provide oral health care services at community level and prepare them to the competition of the outer world.

The college is attached to K C General Hospital, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru which is a government general hospital. The college is affiliated to prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, Bangalore and recognised by the Dental Council of India. The college is housed with World-Class infrastructure with the latest of equipment and technology state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, classrooms, tutorial facilities, Pre-Clinical and Clinical Skill Labs creating a perfect environment for knowledge and skills development. The college is recognized by DCI, Government of Karnataka and Government of India and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.

The college has BDS, MDS and PHD programmes offered to the students. There are very good food and hostel facilities with 24 hour security. The college has excellent results every year. The institute provides the students with highly qualified faculties and doctors, fully established library and a well-established preclinical lab. Additional campus facilities such as Canteen, Hospital, Medical Facilities, Sports are also well equipped and up-to-date to provide for the students. The hospital has good inflow of patients to the OPD clinics daily. Every dental department is equipped with highly skilled and efficient faculties who are an expert in their field. The college has good clinical facility of about 216 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. There is 200 seat capacity for boys and 170 capacity of accommodation for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

  Hostel

Separate hostels for boys and girls are thoroughly modern and air conditioned, offering single and twin sharing accommodation. There is 200 seat capacity for boys and 170 capacity of accommodation for girls. There are attached toilets with 24 hour supply of hot and cold water. The hostels offer hygienic and nutritious food in the mess and the hostels are under full time surveillance of well-trained wardens who are responsible for maintaining and monitoring them.

 Library

The library fulfils the entire standard laid down by the Dental Council of India. photostat machine room, a reading room with audio visual facilities are also made available for the advantage  of students. The library also offers the use of Computers along with Internet services.
