Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital is one of the most popular dental colleges in jharkand, India. It is a private dental college administered by a society called srinivas group . It was established in the year 2006-07 at Off Nh-33 Demotand,  Hazaribag , Jharkhand. The college is attached to Sadar Hospital Hazaribag which is a government general hospital. The college was affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University and recognised by the Dental Council of India.  It is the foremost dental college in Jharkhand to be recognized by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area of 379853 sq ft with a total student intake of around 200 students. The college campus has sprawling lush green lawns, lots of trees and plants with well planned and beautifully designed buildings divided into different blocks and wings. The college campus has all the amenities needed for a high quality of living.

The main vision of the college is to emerge as an academic institution par excellence that would promote the advancement of dentistry and oral health care knowledge and provide an environment in which students will be able to learn, and grow .Our mission is to become an advanced centre of dental teaching & ethical practice and to promote Research & Development, innovation, good dental practice.

It is a premier dental institution with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty and doctors. The hospital has a well experienced set of faculty to provide excellent academic and clinical excellence. The college has a beyond par infrastructure with avant-garde classroom with LCD projector & a state of art audio acoustics for distinct hearing till the last benches.

The college has good clinical facility of about 263 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The institute has a hostel facility of 180 accommodations for boys and 350 accommodations for girls. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

                  FACILITIES

  Hostel

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel has about 150 rooms. Rooms are on twin-sharing basis while Dormitories are on a triple sharing basis. All the rooms have attached baths and toilets. Rooms are provided with beds, mattresses, study tables, chairs, wooden inbuilt wardrobes and book racks.

 Library

The institution has a library that has all kinds of text and reference books for the students to enhance their knowledge and is a perfect place for book lovers. It has an extensive library with print & online resources, archives of various National & International journals of acclaim with a separate reading room for students for self-study.

   Sports

The institute provides sports facilities and encourages them to participate in indoor and outdoor games for their physical and mental well being.

The college has an excellent canteen facility, comprising of a state-of-the-art kitchen, friendly catering staff and a pleasing environment.   IT Infrastructure

IT infrastructure is well-appointed for the overall development of the students. Fully furnished classrooms with attached Over Head Projector (OHD) and Slide Projector as teaching aids. All the classrooms are well ventilated & lighted. State-of-the-art Air Conditioned Lecture Halls to fulfill the requirements of didactic teaching. The lecture halls are well illuminated, soundproof, wall to wall carpeted and self-contained in all respects. The lecture hall has an LCD projector, Over Head Projector (OHP), Computer System, state-of-the-art acoustics.

Laboratory facility

The institution has laboratories for the students in order to apply their knowledge practically and gain exposure. These laboratories are well equipped with the latest technologies and equipment.
