Esic dental college, Rohini, New Delhi is one of the most popular dental college in Delhi, India. It is a government dental college administered by An Autonomous Body Promoted by Central/State Govt.

It was established in the year 2010-11 at Sector - 15, Rohini, Delhi. The college is attached to ESIC Hospital, Sector - 15, Rohini which is a government general hospital. The college was affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area of 435600sq ft with a total student intake of around 204 students. It is a premier dental institution with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty and doctors delivering quality education and best oral health care for the entire population of Delhi. The hospital has a well experienced set of faculty to provide excellent academic and clinical excellence.

The college has good clinical facility of about 101 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 36 accommodations for boys and 88 accommodations for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

Accepted exam: NEET exam.

  Hostel

The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 36 accommodations for boys and 88 accommodations for girls.  The hostel has fully functional mess to provide for Breakfast, lunch, evening tea & snacks payable on monthly basis. The mess facility is compulsory for all students residing in the College hostel.

 Library

Fully equipped library for the benefit of the students. Its rich library is equipped with internet facilities for the use of its students and faculty. There are adequate books to cater to the needs of the students. it aims at providing an academic ambience of excellence to students and faculty members and has a rich collection of books and journals on various disciplines of Dentistry and Medical Sciences. It is a air-conditioned library along with facilities such as photocopying, printing and scanning. Library is divided into Circulation section, Reference section, Book Bank section, Periodicals section and Current Journals section where books and journals have been neatly organized for easy access. Subscription is also provided to various national and international journals in both the print and electronic format.

 Sports

Institute has well equipped sports facilities for the students. The college encourages students to actively participate in sport activities. The students can also avail the facility of playground and volleyball court next to the hostel and the Gymnasium and recreation centre in the College campus. The Gymnasium boasts of state of the art equipment including treadmills, four-station gym and other exercise equipments. Indoor sports facilities such as table tennis, carom, chess etc. are also available.

   Cafeteria

The college has a separate canteen/recreation block. Canteen facilities are good with healthy and clean food and ambience.

  IT Infrastructure

IT infrastructure is well-appointed for the overall development of the students.

    Laboratory facility

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students. The College has a provision of labs that include pre clinical prosthetics & Conservative labs for preclinical training of undergraduates. The Pre-clinical Conservative Dentistry lab is equipped with state of the art patient simulation systems to train the students in a virtual clinical environment. Laboratory facility is available for fabrication of prosthodontic & orthodontic appliances. For histopathology pertaining to dentistry the department of Oral Pathology also has lab facility.  The pre-clinical Orthodontic and Paediatric dentistry laboratory is unique in that it houses cephalometric tracing tables which can accommodate 50 students at a time. The laboratory also possesses an LCD projector to demonstrate the wire bending skills to all students at the same time.

   Auditorium

Auditorium facility is well-resourced for events and seminars. The College has 5 air-conditioned Lecture Theatres, each equipped with public address systems, computers, multimedia projectors, overhead projectors, and slide projectors.

  Alumni Associations

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

     MEDICAL

There is a 300 bedded multispecialty hospitals catering to a multitude of patients. the dental hospital is housed within this medical hospital. The hospital has various clinical departments such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology etc which provide both OPD and in patient services.  There is an emergency department that is available 24hrs for resuscitation and intensive monitoring of patient care. There is also a highly advanced Operation Theatre spread over two floors along with an ICU and Nursery services for the assistance of the patient.
