Awadh dental college & hospital, jamshedpur, jharkand is one of the most reputed private dental colleges in jharkand, India. It is a private dental college administered by a trust .

It was established in the year 2007-08 at Danga, Bhilaipahari, Jamshedpur, jharkand. The college is attached to MGM Medical College & Hospital which is their own hospital. The college was affiliated to  MGM Medical college and hospital, Ranchi University, Ranchi  and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area of 219977.8 sq ft with a total student intake of around 388  students. The college campus has sprawling lush green lawns, lots of trees and plants with well planned and beautifully designed buildings divided into different blocks and wings.

The college has good clinical facility of about 395 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The institute has a hostel facility of 180accommodations for boys and 300 accommodations for girls. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

FACILITIES

  Hostel

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 180accommodations for boys and 300 accommodations for girls. The hostel provided with Guest room for parent & Guardians. The mess, dining hall, recreation facilities with TV, indoor games etc have been provided. Hostel rooms are spacious, double bedded and well furnished with attached bathrooms. Air-conditioned rooms available on payment of additional charges. Safety, Security, and Privacy of our students is our primary concern. The hostel is provided with a hygienically maintained modern mess which serves hygienic and tasty vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

 Library

The library has all the titles of books as per the required number of copies of all the subjects as per the syllabus prescribed including medical journals as required are available.  photocopier, Audio visual aid and internet facilities are also available for students and teachers. Library accommodates for hundred numbers seating capacity at a time. Acoustically designed and well-furnished seating arrangements provided for the students and faculties.

 Sports

The institute provides sports facilities and encourages them to participate in indoor and outdoor games for their physical and mental well being. To provide mental and physical fitness, well established gym is there for both boys and girls. It is open during mornings and evenings just before the lectures. In evening after the lectures are over. The college provides for its students various indoor and outdoor games like volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, carrom, etc. The students are engaged in these games during leisure hours.

The college has an excellent canteen facility, comprising of a state-of-the-art kitchen, friendly catering staff and a pleasing environment. This canteen caters to the requirements of both the staff as well as the students. Good quality and tasty veg & non-veg foods is prepared and served under hygienic conditions.
