The institute is Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is recognised by Dental Council of India , providing variety of general and super specialty medical services such as complex surgeries or authentic ayurvedic experience at Vydehi Ayurveda.

The college has good clinical facility of about 236 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients.

They are equipped with a 1600 bedded multi specialty hospital providing service for seven days a week for 23-hour daily for thousands of patients every year.

The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls with 3 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel with capacity of accommodation for 100 boys and100 girls.

The institute is on a huge 65 acres land having great number of daily outpatients and inpatients receiving treatment daily.

Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre has in-campus accommodation for outstation students in the form of separate Girls and boys hostels. The hostels offer hygienic and nutritious food and the hostels are under full time surveillance of well-trained wardens who are responsible for maintaining and monitoring them with 24-hour security. hostels have solar heated water facility, water cooler, common telephone, common TV room, common reading room etc.

 Library

The library has a vast collections of books and journals. There are around 11000 books and around a 100  national and international journals with back volumes .

It is accessible from 9 am to 9 pm to the students.

The Pre-clinical Conservative Dentistry lab is equipped with state of the art patient simulation systems to train the students in a virtual clinical environment. Laboratory facility is available for fabrication of prosthodontic & orthodontic appliances.
