Anil Neerukonda Institute of Dental Sciences is a reputed private dental college in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in the year 2013 founded by Dr. N. B. R. Prasad, an NRI Philanthropist from USA, in memory of his son, Late Anil Neerukonda in Sangivalasa , Bheemunipatnam Mandal, Visakhapatnam Dist., AP, India. It is a private dental hospital. 

The college is attached to Anil Neerukonda Hospital which is a medical college. The college is affiliated with Dr N T R University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and recognized by Dental Council of India in the year 2018. ANIDS is now a Post Graduate institute with an intake of 19 PG students in 8 specialty departments. 

The college is spread across a huge area of total 425152 sq ft. Area. Anil Neerukonda Institute of Dental Sciences is a premier dental institution with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty and doctors delivering quality education and best oral health care for the entire population of andhra pradesh. The main goal of the college is to generate a stimulating academic environment and develop a centre of excellence in India and thus play a worthy role in contributing to our national objective of 'Health for all'.  

 The hospital has modern equipments and technology for sophisticated treatment of patient, an integrated team of doctors and trained hospital staffs who are dedicated to providing the highest standard of patient care and dedicated faculty to provide highest possible education to the students for achieving academic excellence.

This will help in providing an outstanding dental service to all with the utmost respect.  The main mission of the college is to impart excellence in dental education, research, oral health care and community service to improve the overall health of the population. 

The college has good clinical facility of about 265 dental chairs to cater to the treatment needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 200 accommodations for boys and 300 accommodations for girls. The institute has good department-based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the students. Its rich library is equipped with internet facilities for the use of its students and faculty. The central library has a big collection of books/cds and journals for the benefit of the students. 

Accepted exam: NEET exam. 

          FACILITIES 

  Hostel 

The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 200 accommodations for boys and 300 accommodations for girls. 

The hostel provides self-contained toilet cum bath with hot water facility, study table with cabinet to store books, wardrobes and cots, mineral water for drinking and 24 hours high security. It also has a common room with TV facility, indoor games, magazines and newspaper. There is laundry and saloon facility available inside the campus. Air-conditioned rooms are available for students on prior request to management. The hostel mess provides healthy, balanced food with clean ambience to cater to the students.  

   Library 

Fully equipped library for the benefit of the students. Its rich library is equipped with internet facilities for the use of its students and faculty. The college has a library facility for all students.  

  Sports 

Institute has well equipped sports facilities for the students. The college encourages students to actively participate in sport activities. Sports activity in KIIT is facilitated by KIIT Stadium, Central Indoor Stadium and 10 sports complex distributed in different campuses. It is the hub of indoor sports activities of the university accessible to all the students and staffs. It is one of the biggest in-campus indoor stadiums of the country. The KIMS in campus ground close to the dental and medical hostels provide ample space for cricket and football. 

  Cafeteria 

The college has a separate canteen/recreation block. Canteen facilities are good with healthy and clean food and ambience.  

  Auditorium 

Auditorium facility is well-resourced for events and seminars. It is fully air-conditioned with state-of-the-art infrastructure, a big stage, LCD Projector, power back-up, superior acoustics, and latest technology for sound effects, required to conduct institutional and departmental programs such as CDE, Seminars, Workshop, and Conferences. 

   MEDICAL 

The college has good medical facility with first aid service within the campus.

The college has good security and safe keeping facility.

  Laboratory facility 

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students. 

Satellite centres  

The institution has four peripheral satellite centres at Anandapuram, Padmanabam, Vizianagaram and Madurawada to serve the patients coming from remote areas. A dentist is appointed to each of the satellite centres and  house surgeons are posted on rotatory basis for catering to the needs of the patients.  . Basic dental services like dental examination, scaling, restorations, root canal treatment and extractions are provided at the satellite centres and for further advanced treatments, the patients are referred to the dental college with a referral card.
