Chhattisgarh which means “thirty six forts” is a state located in the region of Central India. This state was formed by the partition of ten Chhattisgarhi and six Gondi-speaking districts in the southeast of Madhya Pradesh. Raipur is the capital city of the state of Chhattisgarh. The college is situated in the Bilaspur in the state of Chhattisgarh.  It was established in the year 2006-07 in Opposite Rajiv Smirti Vatika, Mungeli Road, Sakri, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. It is a private dental college. New Horizon Dental College & Research Institute, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh is run by Guru Ghasidas University. The college is attached to Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.  It is affiliated to College of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college has excellent teaching facilities and also provides tremendous support for research and innovation.
