HIDSAR is a private dental college located in Haldia, Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. There is 250 seat capacity for boys and 204 capacity of accommodation for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.

There is a separate Central library having about 8000 sq. ft. area with 4567 books, 71 Indian and foreign journals (with 10 years back volumes), EBSCO online Journals (250), about 400 free full text medical E-journals, 386 educational CDs, and class lecture for backup learning. There is also an automated digital library with Integrated Library Management Software (LIBSYS) which adds another feather to the institute cap. The library provides photocopy services and inters library loan facility.
