It is a government dental college administered by an Autonomous Body Promoted by Central/State Govt. It was established in the year 2017-18 at Bariatu, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The college is attached to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi. The college was affiliated to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi( Ranchi University) and recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The college is spread across a sprawling area of 233045 sq ft with a total student intake of around 200 students. The main vision of the college is to deliver medical services of the highest standard where excellence, compassion and innovation set the standards, where interests of the patients and their families hold top priority, where technology is state-of-the-art, and research leads to tomorrow’s cure”. The college has good clinical facility of about 55 dental chairs to cater to the needs of the patients. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the Students College has a good set up of library for the benefit of the students.
