Vaidik Dental College and Research Centre

Vaidik dental college and research centre is one of the reputed private colleges in Daman in Daman and Diu of the state of India. The college is spread across a sprawling area of 6 acres with a total student intake of 320 students. The college has a total constructed area of 134877sq ft. It is located at opposite daman industrial estate near vasukinath mahadev mandir, village kadaiya nani daman, daman and diu( U.T) ,india.

It is established in the year 2009 and affiliated with Gujarat University and recognized by the dental council of India. It is a NAAC accredited institution with B⁺⁺ grade. The college is attached to government general hospital marwad. The college was established with the vision of providing the best possible treatment to the rural population and to provide the best education and skills to the students. The main mission of the institution is to get the tiny territory of Daman into the international forefront and to be an educational focal point in the country.

The college has good clinical facility of about 205 dental chairs to cater to the necessity of the patients. This institute has a fully operational hospital equipped with latest and most sophisticated equipment of modern dentistry, which includes electrically operated Hi-tech dental chairs, R.V.G. machine, O.P.G. machine Etc.The College has excellent teaching and non-teaching faculty to train and assist the students. The college has good hostel accommodation and food facilities for both the boys and girls. The institute has a hostel facility of 40 accommodations for boys and 220 accommodations for girls. The institute has good department based laboratory facility with all state-of-the-art equipments for the benefit of the students. The college has a fully equipped library facility and first aid facility for the students within the campus.

  Hostel

The institute has two separate, spacious and well ventilated hostel buildings for girls and boys. The college has one hostel with 40 capacities for boys and 2 hostel building with 220 student accommodations for girls.

The hostel includes twin sharing rooms, self contained toilet-cum-bath with warm water facility, separate study table with cabinet to store books and box type beds with linen storage spare.
The hostels have common room with TV, dish connection, indoor connection and 24 hours security.

   Library

The institute has a well stocked library with a collection of dental and medical books. The college also has a range of reference test books, journals, periodicals and catalogues of various specialization of dentistry. The library also hosts online journals, e-library and CD ROMS for the benefit of the students.
